today connor had his first private fencing lesson.
he's been taking group lessons once a week for a month now.
he really enjoys it, and the people are nice.

fletcher tends to get bored though, and i haven't yet been able to bring myself to just drop con off for an hour. so this is what fletch does for most of the time.
today i thought he picked an interesting spot to camp himself.
catherine pointed out to me today that if her son wanted fencing lessons, her reply would have to be, "well, we can go to the store and buy you a plastic sword..."
i am becoming more and more grateful to be living in this huge city.
and the more i think about it, the more i think i'll never want to leave.

The only thing I did not like about LA was where we lived lol I could not even take a walk safely!! I do like all the different things to do, but do not like the close neighbors.... yep I am still a country girl at heart, will just have to travel in to the big city to do things lol...

Totally off the subject, but is that a "SafetyTat" I spy on Fletch's arm? Sweet.
About the fencing, anyone who ever makes fun of you for it is totally & completely jealous.

sadly, no - that is a Kisskaloo tat, that his mommy got for him at Comic Con... :) those safety tats are awesome though. what a fantastic idea.

I can't wait to see that for myself and keep you and Fletcher company--how 'bout tomorrow?
