my boys have been spending days on end reading these fabulous books.
fletcher will go up to connor, holding this book half as big as he is, and beg him to read it out loud. i love listening to them laugh and laugh. thanks Bill Watterson. Anytime you feel like coming out of retirement is fine with us!

Miles just finished a huge collection of Calvin and Hobbs. He was constantly coming up to me and making me read his favorites. "Mom, read this one...it's my favorite one now" Nice.
Oh we LOVE our Calvin and Hobbes books, to the point where I need to replace several of them as they have been across the continental US more than once as in-car reading on long trips.
There are several comic strips which I read over and over, and each time I belly-laugh because they are that funny each time.
Just last night, Andrew kept laughing out loud at them. Then he'd have to tell me what was so funny. It's delightful to watch him discover them.
I miss Calvin & Hobbs! We re-read him all the time.
They are the cutest brothers.
*sniff* this has got to be such a moment for you... your kids being able to enjoy the greatness that is Calvin & Hobbes. Awesome!
